Meet Rylie! She is a 10 month old Border Collie X. She was part of a litter from Momma Aurora we rescued back in February of last year. She was adopted when she was 8 weeks old by a wonderful family who had some unforeseen circumstances and they returned her to us. She was raised with a young child, and a cat. She is crate trained housebroken and dog friendly. She knows Sit, Down, and Shake. She gets excited when she meets new people as most dogs do, and she's still young. Hercules was rescued from the Solano County Animal shelter last summer, he was found by animal control along with 3 siblings. They were in very poor condition and required immediate vet treatment. Gypsy is looking for a forever home! Here's what her foster says about her: Gypsy: Female roughly 3.5 years old 40 pounds Gypsy came from a terrible situation. She lived in a crate and was in bad shape. She had been in her crate so long that she was lying in a bed of hair, urine and feces. Living in this condition caused soars and wounds which had to be cleaned. While her rescuer cleaned her up, Gypsy melted into relaxation and her sweet eyes showered her with appreciation. Dahlia really wants to know why she doesn't have a forever home yet! 'Is it because I am 'just' plain black and white?' 'Is it because I'm a bit too interested in kitties?' 'Am I too old?' These questions are on sweet Dahlia's mind a lot but she tries not to let it bother her. She is very sweet, very loving and very smart! Because of her past...'She was found living in a creek bed, the person who found her gained her trust enough to get her to come to her, and she was picked up by animal control. They deemed her un-adoptable because of her fear, she was afraid of humans, likely because she wasn't treated very well by them in the past'... she is a bit timid and hand shy at first but quickly overcomes that. She would be a great companion dog as long as she is introduced to new things slowly and with a confident hand.
